Quinta do Ventozelo Essencia is a red wine with intense and rich aromas. It displays a complex aromatic profile that highlights notes of ripe fruit such as black cherries and plums, hints of mustard, balsamic notes, and very polished acidity.
Winemaking:
Quinta do Ventozelo Essencia is a red wine produced with red grape varieties of Touriga Nacional and Touriga Franca from the Douro wine region. After the fermentation process, which took place at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, the wine was transferred to news French and Hungarian oak barrelswhere it stayed in contact with fine lees and was subjected to regular stirring for 18 months, prior to being bottled.

Tasting Notes:
Quinta do Ventozelo Essencia is a complex and elegant red wine. Exhibiting an open aromatic bouquet, it expresses notes of ripe black fruit and spices, highlighting black pepper and vanilla. It presents notes of cherries and plums, velvety tannins, mineral hints, and very well-integrated acidity.
Store and Serve Advice:
The bottle should be stored lying down at a temperature of 15°C. Serve at a temperature of 16°C to 18ºC.
